The Brief:

The brief involved designing a stand solution that TIER 1 aerospace supplier, Gardener Aerospace could use at two different locations to present and display products that they manufacture. The product benefits had to be showcased and be reflected in the design, while at the same time also convey their global message of the company growth in new world economies. Key to the show objectives was hospitality for both strategic meetings for senior members of their team and to offer hospitality to their clients and potential new customers.

The Solution:

Visual design and presentation were at the forefront of the stand solution brief as this must be upheld as the central part of their brand imagery. The design concept had to include a design theme at the cutting-edge of stand design and could combine colour palette elements of both pink and red, a combination that usually would not be shown together. The colour black was used to effect to create a contrast for the edge-lit lettering and logos.

Activation:

The concept included a two-storey stand structure which also had to accommodate safe building practices, as well as to utilise good use of space while falling in line with the client budget. With the client continually striving to produce different methods of wowing their customers and complicated nature of the structure featuring a multi-layered 3D design effect, new construction techniques had to be developed and established along with a new manufacturing process to complete a visually striking stand while adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
Challenges for the project also included working within schedule the build-up time allowed for the and rebuilding the stand again at another site with a different layout.

The Result:

The Gardner brief was fulfilled by the stand design, creating an unusual colour palette whilst delivering cutting edge design using new construction methods developed specifically to create an exhibition space created to deliver exceptional hospitality to the clients’ customers across two country locations.
